Walk through NYC’s residential neighborhoods any time between September and November, and you’ll quickly notice that proper decor for our favorite season does not end with the familiar round orange pumpkin.

When our plans to go pumpkin picking in Jersey fell through last weekend, my Fall fomo seriously kicked in. Was I going to have to resort to buying my pumpkins from the corner store?  All I wanted was to find the perfect seasonal fruits to adorn my terrace while sipping on warm cider and nibbling on a pumpkin spice donut.  If there was ever a season to be completely basic, fall is it.

So this past weekend, John and I visited the Union Square Greenmarket. It’s THE PLACE to go for some serious fall feels, from farm fresh apples and cider to baked goods and wine tasting. We picked up the most unique pumpkins and gourds, and I (of course) discovered a New York based winery that has the most delicious fruity wines in bottles I would end up saving forever. We even found Minnie some awesome freshly baked dog treat that she’s obsessed with.

#Fallvibes: check.
