I love Vietnamese food, and it’s a little harder to come by in NYC than other cuisines. It doesn’t matter what day or time it is, I can always go for some good Pho. John and I tried Bo Ca Phe over the weekend, which has Vietnamese food with a French twist, and we were really happy about it.
The Bo Ca Phe dinner menu has so many cool options, but John and I both opted for Bo Buns, which are rice noodle salad bowls. I got mine with sweet & sour shrimp, and the flavors were soooo good. The bowls come with a homemade spring roll, and it was so crispy and fresh I could have eaten one in every flavor. I’d like to go back soon and try the chick’ginger spring roll and the Bo Bun with the raw salmon/avocado.
Bo Ca Phe is in SoHo, at 22 Lafayette Street
