I literally cannot wait to book my summer vacation this year. I don’t know where we’ll go yet, but I have a serious itch to travel soon. It’s so nice to get away for a change of pace.

These photos are from my trip to San Diego/La Jolla last year. Omg, it was so amazing and beautiful. In the time we were there. John and I did pretty much everything there was to do in San Diego. My favorite part of the trip was the beauty of La Jolla Cove. We discovered a hiking path that bordered the cove and led all the way around to the top where we found ourselves at La Jolla Shores beach. The views along the hiking trail were amazing and we saw the coolest mansions scattered up above on the cliffs.

Southern California is amazing. The people are super friendly, the food is amazing, and the general pace is so chill. So far, I’ve been to Santa Monica, LA, San Diego, La Jolla, and San Francisco (which is more North).  San Diego is by far the slowest paced out of the places in Cali I’ve been, and I think it’s perfect to go with a significant other to take in the views, watch the sunset and go to dinner. There are some nice rooftop waterfront restaurants that are so romantic – George’s is amazing. The only downside is that there isn’t much to do late at night if you want to party.

You can also check out this post and this post for more photos and info about my trip to San Diego 🙂

Do you guys have vacation plans yet? Where should I go this year??
