During our recent trip to Long Branch, John and I took a walk up the promenade for dinner at Rooney’s. It’s one of the few restaurants we hadn’t tried yet between Pier Village and the strip along the beach.
Rooney’s has a fun vibe, with classic music blasting and a packed bar area. The mostly seafood menu pairs really well with the gorgeous view of the water, and everything we ordered tasted great. We had the white sangria, which was sweet and fizzy, the spinach dip and a salad with fig and prosciutto. For dinner, John ordered a burger and I had the seafood gumbo. It was so good!
If you’re at the Jersey shore for Labor Day weekend, you should definitely check out Rooney’s!
