I’m sure you already saw on my instagram, John and I spent the past few days in Long Branch. Long Branch is one of my favorite beachy towns on the New Jersey coastline.
We usually stay in a different hotel, but this year we stayed at Bungalow Hotel and we were really happy that we did. It’s a 4-floor boutique hotel with oversized modern rooms and a cozy lobby and outdoor lounge area.
I loved that our room had a fireplace, so it was really cozy to snuggle up with a glass of wine at night. The lobby lounge had games like pool, foosball, chess and checkers, and the outdoor seating area was outfitted with a big warm fireplace. We spent a good amount of time here, playing games and drinking more wine.
The modern beach house vibe throughout the hotel was adorable, and they are pet friendly – Minnie was even able to hang with us in the lobby lounge and outdoor seating area.
Getting to Long Branch is really easy from the city. We got on a New jersey Transit train from Penn Station that goes straight to the beach town. From the train station in Long Branch, you can either walk 10-15 minutes to the hotel or take a super quick cab ride.
Long Branch is such a great town right in our area, with enough things to do to fill up a perfect long weekend. Pier Village is loaded with adorable stores and delicious restaurants, and the expansive beach is always impressively clean.
If you’re looking to take a weekend trip before the weather gets cold, I really recommend going here. Stay tuned because I’ll be posting more about some of my favorite restaurants in the area that you have to eat at when you visit 🙂
