‘Tis the season to eat cupcakes and not feel guilty. My sister and I recently indulged at Molly’s cupcakes in the West Village. I feel like cupcakes are so iconically New York City – of course other cities can say the same, but there’s just something about New York and a good cupcake that go hand in hand 🙂
Molly’s is super cute because you get to design your own cupcakes by choosing your cake flavor, frosting, and toppings. I got a carrot cake cupcake with cream cheese icing, topped with cinnamon and colorful sprinkles. Maddie’s cupcake was a simple and delicious vanilla topped with buttercream frosting and course sugar.
Molly’s is one of my favorite cupcake shops in NYC, and what makes it even better is that a portion of their profits are donated to local NYC schools. The bakery itself is even decorated with an adorable schoolhouse style, complete with swings that double as seating.
Molly’s is located at 228 Bleecker Street. Sorry for giving you cupcake cravings!
