I’m sooo missing our Cali vacation right now. These photos are from the night we went to Bungalow, which was the outdoor/indoor lounge at the Fairmont Marimar Hotel we stayed at. While we were in Santa Monica, we got a feel for its nightlife which was more relaxed and casual than in NYC. The vibes at Bungalow were awesome, with great music playing and great people.

While in Santa Monica, we learned that Bungalow was the hottest place to go out, and I totally understood why when we got there.  The outdoor area is draped with globe string lights, flowering plants, comfy colorful couches and multiple bars. The indoor space looks just like a bungalow home (go figure), and each room carried it’s own vibe. There was a game room, a rustic den with antlers on the walls and wooden tables, a study, and a state room which was like a huge dining room. I don’t have any good photos of the drinks, but they were really adorable and tasted delicious.

I was so glad that we checked out Bungalow because it’s something that we could never have in the city. Sure, we have plenty of clubs and lounges with a similar vibe, but the crowd in Cali, the perfect weather, scenery and seemingly endless amount of space just couldn’t be recreated in NYC.  Next time we head to Cali we’ll definitely be going back to Bungalow 🙂
