There’s something nostalgic about mini golf that takes me back to childhood and summer vacations with family. Now that the stifling heat of the summer is behind us, it’s much easier to spend a comfortable afternoon outdoors. I love being out on the fresh air, and I love that the mini golf course on Pier 25 has a gorgeous view of the water.
I wanted to share this with you before it gets too cold out! John and I spent a Sunday afternoon a few weeks back mini golfing. We took Minnie with us and since she was nice and quiet in my bag, no one cared that she was there. She was really good at first, but after deciding she wanted to ‘fetch’ all the golf balls as they rolled around the course, things got a bit more challenging! Needless to say we’ll probably let Minnie stay home next time we mini golf.
The course is very pretty, complete with waterfalls, cavernous underpasses, and rivers that you cross by way of charming little bridges. After an afternoon of golf, John and I headed to Sarahbeth’s restaurant for brunch. We love the food at Sarabeth’s, and they have outdoor seating so it’s easy to bring Minnie with us. You can see my post featuring Sarahbeth’s here 🙂
Pier 25 is located on the West Side of downtown Manhattan, and is part of Hudson River Park, one of the most popular sports and recreation destinations in Manhattan. There are also a few dog runs in the area including the Chelsea Waterside Dog Run and the Tribeca Dog Run.
I’m wearing an off the shoulder top and white denim cutoffs from Forever 21 and Dolce Vita sandals.
Will you be visiting Pier 25? What’s your favorite spot along Hudson River Park? Let me know in the comments!
