Roast Kitchen – Financial District

Roast Kitchen - Financial District | Minnie in Manhattan Way back when I was searching for my apartment, my real estate agent at the time described the Financial District in a way I’ll never forget. She said, “It’s real Gotham City down there, it’s so quiet and empty at night you feel like Batman and the Joker are just going to swoop out from behind the buildings or something!” Nonetheless, that didn’t dissolve the love I have for downtown NYC. The Financial District has been humming with a great mix of locals and tourists lately, with much less of that quiet Gotham City feel. New restaurants are popping up throughout the area, one being is the Grand Opening of Roast Kitchen’s second location. Roast Kitchen - Financial District | Minnie in Manhattan

Roast Kitchen - Financial District | Minnie in Manhattan Roast Kitchen is a lunch and dinner spot where you can get a quick delicious meal. The food at Roast Kitchen is made fresh, and the meats are rotisserie-roasted and seasoned perfectly. You can build your own meal by choosing the ingredients you want in a bowl that’s served either hot (like a warm rice bowl) or cold (like a salad). They were both really yummy. I tend to add salt and pepper to my food but these bowls needed absolutely no extra seasoning. I love juicing, so this is a huge plus in my book! Bon appetit 🙂 Roast Kitchen, 199 Water Street
