Stone Street is always a promising spot for a good meal and drinks, but it shines the most in the warmer months. With its old fashioned style and variety of shops, bars, and restaurants that line the cobblestone street, it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy a long lunch or extended happy hour with friends. I tend to visit Stone Street pretty often, and recently stopped by Financier to grab lunch with a friend.

Minnie loves to visit Stone Street not just because she’s friends with most of the staff at the restaurants, but because she gets to see all the other dogs that hang out there while their people sit down to eat. It’s been sunny and warm lately, so it’s easy to spend a few hours outside relaxing with a cup of coffee and friends.

Financier is a French cafe chain that most New Yorkers take for granted. I love their macarons, pastries, and I even ordered a delicious Napoleon cake from them for John’s birthday this year. What most people don’t know is that they also serve  sandwiches, soups, and salads that are all surprisingly tasty for what you’d expect to get from a small cafe.

I picked up Minnie’s orange leash from Fetch Club in the beginning of the season. I love the bright color, and the fact that it’s extra long, with metal rings along its length so that you can clip it to any length you want. Her harness is from The Salty Paw, and her collar is from ShihPooLoverDesigns.
