We all know Shake Shack for its tasty fast food and signature trail of customers leading up to its takeout windows. It seems that no matter what time of day it is, there will always be a line of people waiting for a taste of those burgers, topping-filled flat-top dogs, or a frozen custard. One thing we’ve noticed is that there are more and more pooches lining up for a taste as well, and last weekend Minnie learned what she’s been missing.
Shake Shake caters to canines by providing special menu items made specially for them. NYC’s Bocce’s Bakery (a bakery that makes gourmet biscuits just for dogs) teams up with Shake Shack to create the ‘Pooch-ini,’ which consists of frozen vanilla custard, peanut butter sauce, and ShackBurger dog biscuits. Also on the menu is the ‘Bag O’ Bones,’ which is a doggie bag of 5 ShackBurger dog biscuits.
Unfortunately, they were fresh out of ShackBurger biscuits when we ordered, but Minnie still got to enjoy a Pooch-ini with frozen vanilla custard and peanut butter sauce. We’ll have to try the biscuits another time, if Minnie agrees to wait on that long line again.
