Battery Park city is a beautiful area at the tip of Manhattan that is often associated with being very dog-friendly. It has more of a laid-back rural feel than the rest of New York City, and the fact that it is right on the Hudson River makes it even more picturesque.
P.J. Clarke’s restaurant is located right alongside the Hudson and has a large area dedicated to outdoor seating. The hostess encouraged us to sit down and eat, welcoming Minnie and all her furry splendor. Our waitress seemed more than pleased to serve our pup some cold water in a plastic food container and all the other wait staff was just as excited to see her.
It felt great to sit outside with a beautiful water view sipping pretty cocktails as the sun set. The food was also good- they serve great seafood, as well as standard American menu items with a bit of a twist (try the Crisp parmesan tater tots!)
